For the Safety of Your Children

Dear Parents,

Time and time again I have sent out flyers, emails and web notices informing parents of the rules of the parking lot and the flow of traffic surrounding our Oso Grande campus.  It seems my efforts have fallen on deaf ears as I continue to observe, and get reports from parents, regarding the unsafe actions of parent drivers.

At this time I am letting all parents and community members know I am working directly with the Orange County Sheriff’s department and the CHP to stop the illegal driving behavior in and around our school, and officers will be issuing citations.  Also, I want to formally give my permission, which comes on the advisement of the Sheriff’s department, for parents to call the police and report any illegal driving behavior that they witness.  Use your cell phone and camera capability as well.  All these actions on my part are solely for the safety and concern of our students.  My goal is to prevent a potentially life threatening accident.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation,

Jayne Martin

Principal
